Why can't I find a Greyhound or some other bus that goes from Denver to Boulder, CO? |
Travel Info I can't afford to rent to a car but there has to be a somewhat easy way to get from Denver TO Boulder but Greyhound doesn't selll tickets in Boulder so I guess I'd have to buy online? Help!!!!! Travel Tips Yeah, the RTD website is confusing for newbies! From the RTD main page, click on Schedules and scroll down to 30 to get the schedule from Wadsworth to downtown (N-Bound is to downtown, S-Bound is back to Lakewood). Then scroll up to Route B for Denver-Boulder (the BX routes are express) Take the 30 bus to the 16th St. Mall and take the free Mall Shuttle bus to Market St. Station (or walk about five-six blocks). Go downstairs and get the B bus. You can pay the driver on Route 30 ($1.50 exact change) then buy a ticket ($3.75) at the booth at Market Street for the Boulder bus. Others Greyhound does not serve Boulder, that route has always been operated by RTD which is a regional transportation system in central Colorado. They have several routes serving Denver from Boulder including the B local and the BX express and many others. Most lines begin and end in Denver at the underground Market street station. Find detailed info at www.rtd-denver.com Good Luck! www.rtd-denver.com I'm almost sure that Greyhound travels from Denver to Boulder. The problem is that you can't buy the ticket online. You have to do it over the phone or go to the location. Here are the address and number for Greyhound in both cities: DENVER GREYHOUND STA 1055 19TH ST, Denver, CO 80202 Telephone Numbers Main: 303-293-6555 Greyhound Charter: 800-454-2487 Boulder, Colorado CONOCO GAS STA 30TH & DIAGONAL HWY, Boulder, CO 80302 Tickets are not sold at this location in Boulder, CO. You may get tickets by mail for trips departing from Boulder if you buy at least 10 mailing days in advance. http://www.greyhound.com/scripts/en/tick... Call the RTD number, tell them where you are and where you want to go and what times you want to travel and they will do the rest. What can be easier than that? we always take the rtd!!! it is great and very cheap I've taken the RTD bus from Denver to Boulder tons of times. The site really is not a nightmare. Just go to rtd.com and click on TRIP PLANNER then type in the cross streets where you are starting and the cross streets to where you want to go. |
