Travel Info Does anyone know of a Cheaper bus line other than Greyhound? Travel Tips There is a new service called Megabus. It's a British outfit that just started operating in the states in April. Their fare for Detroit to Chicago is $27.50. That's about 30 percent under Greyhound. Check them out http://www.megabus.com/us/index.php... Others Hitchhiking would be way cheaper! the city bus downtown Peter Pan is part of Greyhound, and sometimes cheaper. How about the train?? on the east coast, there's the chinatown bus. it's dirt cheaper than greyhound, more than 1/2 off the price! If your not afraid to fly and your schedule is a bit open, you can sometimes get airfare cheaper then bus tickets and it's much faster. Try some of the travel sites or sometimes even the direct websites of the airlines.
