Travel Info Aren't cities supposed to not be made fun of by comedians, as unlike people who are public figures, all the people who live in these cities don't ask to be ridiculed. At least that's what someone on the news said one time. Travel Tips Have you not been to Detroit? Last time I was there, early morning in Detroit reminded me of the set of a post-apocolypse film. Except the buildings were in worse shape. And cities have long been fodder for comedians. Los Angeles is fully of flakes, lunatics and girls with fake breasts, New Yorkers are rude, San Francisco is ulta-liberal/ultra-gay. Most people live with the sterotypes because they're based on a certain amount of reality. Others I dont know why he makes fun of detroit, But did you know Conan Graduated magna *** laude from Harvard University, with a BA in American History & Literature Detroit is a quirky city. I mean, they do try to burn it down every Halloween. It's a little weird there. There is reason to make fun of every city. Maybe you just notice Detroit more because it bothers you when he talks about it. I live here and it doesnt bother me when he does it but I do think many people have their ideas of Detroit misconstrued and it is better than they actually think. Every city has its bad area. But Detroit has gotten better the past 10 years. Buisnesses are moving back in and downtown is improving quickly. Detroit is an easy target though because of its past. So let him make his jokes but it isnt as bad as he makes it to be. dont listen to conan hes a *** and has no idea of what hes talking about. Detroit Rocks i dunno Because he's a lame *** non-funny *** dick head and all the time his jokes aren't funny anyway!!! |
