In Detroit Metro Airport, how long will it take me to go from Smith Terminal to McNamara Terminal? |
Travel Info I am taking a SouthWest airlines flight from the West Coast and then have to retrieve my luggage and re-check in for a NorthWest Airlines puddle-jumper to Northern Michigan. I have 90 minutes between flights -- is that enough time? Travel Tips I don't think those terminals are connected. You might have to take a shuttle. I was just up there 3 days ago. 90 minutes may be cutting it close. Southwest is usually on time, so that works in your favor. I found this on the site: "Is there shuttle service between the McNamara Terminal and the Smith & Berry Terminals? Yes. There are terminal-to-terminal shuttle vans running every 15-20 minutes between the terminals." It is only about a 7 - 10 minute ride from Smith to McNamara. Good Luck! Source(s): http://www.metroairport.com/ Other Travel Tips That is more than enough time. it takes abiut 15-20 minutes if it is crowded. In 90 minutes u can get there, get a bite to eat, etc.... yes, take the shuttle. The Detroit Metro airport is a really big and spread out airport. You may have to rush to do the transfer. Do you have alot of luggage to check, or could you carry most of your stuff on? That would sure save you some time, if you didn't check your stuff. 15 minutes by shuttle |
