What ever happened with the michigan helmet law? |
Travel Info do you still have to wear one or not? Travel Tips Yes, in Michigan you are still legally required to wear a helmet while on a motorcycle. There is a bill in the state legislature to change that, but it has not been signed into law at this point. Others I don't know for sure but I heard something about a special permit that you can obtain that will allow you to not wear a helmet. You may want to call the Secretary of State office and ask them about it, they will know for sure. Whether there is a helmet law or not, you should wear one... unless you like the idea of being DEAD. Just go to google and search for motorcycle accident without helmet If you look, you will be convinced. If you don't look, you are pretty pretty silly. |
