Detroit Metro.. best place to stay? |
Travel Info have an early flight monday, want to stay overnight, anyone know the cheapest place to stay? Travel Tips to be honest the cheapest place to stay would be at the airport ~ but the next cheapest place to stay would be the Ramadia Inn across from the Big Boy restraunt down the road. Others For easy outs, stay in an inexpensive hotel by the airport. There are oodles of them, but the Courtyard is my favorite. Cheapest? Probably Travelodge DTW Airport, or other comparable hotels/motels around the area. The best? Westin at the DTW airport itself. Incredible beds...super quiet.....nothing compares to it. The lobby even has a monitor displaying the departure/arrival info. Most importantly, you dont have to take a shuttle to get to the airport, just walk right through security. What a treat! It depends on what level of service you want. Looking on Hotels.com The Cheapest is 39.90 a night but I doubt that you want to stay there 1 star motel. Hotels.com I would stay in Warren, Michigan it is about 15 minutes from downtown and they have a little section with about 7 hotels like the homewood suites, holiday inn, residence inn, courtyard, there might be more but im not sure. I think its in the convention center drive area or something like that. I have stayed in a couple of places for parties or a weekend away and they would be nice for visitors if not look into the Homewood suites in Troy, Mi or any hotel near Auburn Hills or Sterling Heights there is plenty to do in those suburbs.
