What do you think about Detroit, Michigan? |
Travel Info please answer only if you have never been to Detroit. I want to know what you all think of my hometown. No racist $h!t please. Travel Tips IT SUCKS ITs only good if you like taking pictures of burned out buildings, or if you like dodging bullets Others I like cuz emimen is from there. but the sports teams suck. hit back at whitesoxchicagosouthside@yahoo... I'm from the other side of the state, and when I wanna get away and have a good time, I go straight to Detroit. Aside from Las Vegas, Detroit is the only other place I can think of that I can have a great time and not worry about it coming back to bite me in my ***! It has it's rough spots, but still a great city! I think that the city has great potential. Look at all the huge companies moving in to downtown again. That is a huge boost! More restraunts, apartments, everything! I think that its great! Now if they could just do the same for Flint... Been there I'd rather hang out on the south side of Chicago. HONESTLY, WHEN I HEAR DETROIT I THINK OF CRIME AND ABANDONED HOUSES EVERY, I ALSO THINK OF REALLY HUGE RAN DOWN AREAS IN THIS CITY.\ SORRY, JUST TELLING THE TRUTH. sorry, I've been to Detroit several times in fact. and this is 2 days old, but i want to answer this. Detroit has a lot of great things. Look at the old chruchs, and the universities, and the museums and the science center. Most people don't think of those things. Most people only think of things like "OMG you've been to Detroit and lived????!!!!!" which is stupid. Yeah there are a lot of 'rough' spots in Detroit, but someday it'll get better. Detroit is NOT the rudest city, or the fattest city (anymore), and DOESN"T have the highest crime rate, which a lot of people think!!!!!!! it's to bad about the teacher strikes though. I feel bad for the kids. GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... |
