What is St. Clair Shores, MI like? |
Travel Info We are going to a wedding there in 2 weeks. Is it really urban like Detroit? Travel Tips it has it's spots but it's more like an oversized subburb. email me the location of the reception site and i'll be happy to fill you in. lived there for some time. there are some really nice spots and some other spots that are just not as "upscale" but normal!! hopefully you'll have some time to tool around - are you renting a car? seriously - let me know and i'll be happy to fill you in on the precise location and thus locale of the reception site. Others No, it is more suburban.....like the suburbs in most cities. I am a Michigan native. nicer.. depending on the area It's a nice area. However, the roads are bad. Too much traffic. Not very many black people so the crime rate is low. Its an older, outer ring suburb. Its well insulated from detroit, so it could just as well be in another state. Its on the water, so in the summer, it can be nice. Its pretty if you are around lake st. clair and you are close to Grosse Pointe Shores and you will see a lot of pretty homes there. This would make a nice spring wedding though but a fall wedding should be ok. |
