Travel Info Art, Sculptures, Paintings, Renaissance era etc... Travel Tips Oh the DIA for sure. Its kind of an underrated museum. Its the 5th biggest museum in the nation though. You can go check out their website to see whats going on there right now. There is a huge Diego Rivera mural that is really something. It is set up by movements in art rather than time periods, which I really enjoy. Its right on Woodward Ave. Source(s): When I lived in Detroit I went there all the time. Other Travel Tips The DIA right on woodward....across the street is the detroit historical museum, which just got remodeled and reopened last week. and then about 20 miles west is the Henry Ford Museum which has a lot of cool junk The DIA has some killer murals inside by frida kahlos husband, but its under construction right now |
