Travel Info I really wanna go to the United States especially to detroit and find cool people there and find a sweet girl there and marry her....please help me as cool one and tell me what i gotta do . Travel Tips As a former resident of the Detroit area, Detroit is not the best place in the United States of America to relocate. The economy is in steep decline and Michigan鈥檚 economy is one of the worst economies in the United States of America. I have heard that in the last four years, every state in the United States of America has gained jobs except for Michigan. A lot of young adults leave Michigan after they finish their education to find opportunity elsewhere. Detroit and the Metropolitan Area have been in decline since at least 2001. Although Detroit is trying to move forward, they end up taking one step back and everyday people are leaving Detroit and the Metropolitan leave the area to go elsewhere (which is usually out of Michigan). The Detroit and the Metropolitan do not have enough to offer for entertainment and most young adults complain about there not being enough variety to offer. The best city to offer is New York City. In New York, NY you meet people from all over the world. They even speak over 100 languages throughout New York and NY has so much entertainment to offer that it never gets boring. New York City has a variety of mass transportation including Buses, Subway, Taxis, Trains, and Boats while Detroit only has a Bus System that is very ineffective and not too safe to ride at night. Although New York City is more expensive to live in than Detroit, New York City has more to offer than Detroit. Other Travel Tips you gotta be out of your Cotton pickin mind. the only thing worth seeing there is The Ford Museum& Springfield Village.. Takes 2 days then outta there . Welcome- there are alot of cool bars and restaurants in downtown Detroit WELCOME Springfield village? huh Greenfield Village was changed to be a part of The Henry Ford Complex over a year ago Detroit is unique. It's not in the best shape over the past 10 years, but I really have hope for it. There are lots of nice things there though. Woodward Ave in the right spots has lots of good stuff, like the art institute. I would move to Ferndale or Royal Oak or another suburb. You definately don't want to live RIGHT in the city. Its really hit and miss one what is safe, but fun to go out in. Lived there all my life until 6 months ago. i'm not sure if you really want to go to Detroit, it's just not a good place to be. If you would like to live in Michigan then I suggest living in the suburbs and then visiting Detroit as much as you want. You have to understand that Detroit has a big crime rate and it goes up more and more each year. |
