Who here would walk at night in Detroit alone? |
Travel Info i know i sure wouldn't! Travel Tips I lived downtown all last year. All my friends live on Woodward or Cass. Any city is dangerous if you're an idiot. Others In Downtown? I have.. with friends In the outer area of Fetroit- Southfiled Freeway/Ford Rd/Evergreen area of Detroit? I grew up there.. so I did all the time with no fear If you are in the Downtown area you would be fine. Detroit is a beautiful city so very historical. It's when you venture outside of the Downtown area you may find trouble. I love Detroit! Would I walk alone, probably not. But then i wouldn't walk alone in any big city all by myself. I would not walk Detroit alone at night time because Detroit is not a safe city to walk in. It all depends. Detroit has some decent areas and some places the cops don't even go to at night. It could be a little better since MI became a conceal carry state. i wouldn't even park my car in a secure lot more less walk alone or with a group of people. I would, but I was born and raised there. Only a coward would respond that way. If you know your surroundings and are smart you'll be fine as long as you don't show fear. |
