Where's a good place to hang out w/ friends in southern Michigan?

Not daily, just some places to spend the day at or something.

really depends on what you like to do.... ann arbor is fun in the city and outskirts - apple orchards and stuff.
in the summer his any one of the metro parks - some have canoeing or wave parks -stuff like that.
in the summer there is also hart plaza and the weekend ethnic festivals - those a re great!

Others
If you are over 21 try a sports bar, it seems to be the thing to do in Detroit. I hate going to these places, because there is a lot of noise, the beer is expensive, and its hard to talk due to the noise

The casinos are full of smoke, and take your money too.

I guess the best place to hang out is in your basement with some brews
Birmingham and Royal Oak are fun suburbs and have lots to do and places to go. Greektown in Detroit is always a good time too!
