If someone stranger was interested, they could lie to you and not tell you the truth about their background and possibly rip you off financially. My advise to you is to ask a friend of family member to travel with you because the internet is not a safe place to meet a complete stranger to take you to Southern California because they could be very dishonest about their background and make promises to you that are untruthful wrong and if I was you, I would delete this question because you are asking information that should not be posted online.
