Travel Info What is there to do for enjoyment in Livonia, Michigan? Travel Tips I grew up in Livonia and it's a great place to live. One of my favorite places to go to is Newburg Lake in Hines Park. The easiest way to get their is to take I-96 to the Newburg Rd / Levan Rd Exit and go South for about a mile on Newburg Rd. Turn right at Hines Drive. Then check out the short trails, picnic areas, and fishing piers on the Lake. Near the I-275 bridge at the West end of the lake is what I call the "Duck Pond". During the warmer months it's great for bird watching. Ronald CYou can go skating at Riverside Skating Rink from 8-12 on Saturday nights. Its not even that expensive. Good Luck!!!!!!! There's a bowling alley. if you are a minority....drive down plymouth from venoy to inkster rd and bet your friends you can make it without getting followed, pulled over or shot by the local police |
