Does anyone live in flint michigan?

my friend lives over there and wants me to come move over there with her but i here so many bad things about it. right now i live in a suburb of IL. is it really that bad there? is it hard to find a job? are the apartments cheap?

Yes, Flint IS really that bad. There are no jobs, high crime, crappy weather, and boarded up crack houses everywhere. And the roads are Horrible! Everyone that lives there is trying to get OUT of Flint. The apartments are cheap but you get what you pay for. If you are going to move to the Flint area, I suggest that you move to a suburb just outside of Flint such as Davison, Flushing or Grand Blanc.
i was born in flint and have family there but i dont live there. not since i was 3 months old.

umm. i wouldnt ggo. but you can move into a nice subarb of Detroit. Like sterling heights, royal oak, rochester, troy. it would be like only a two hour drive.

i have a cottage four hours from the subarbs. its not that bad. the drive. so im sure you can handle two.
