Travel Info Baghdad or Detroit, which is the safer city? Travel Tips Hmmmm...considering how many Arabic and Farsi immigrants settled in the Detroit area...and considering how many have been arrested for terror-related activities...and considering the FBI rates us as a murder/rape/violent crime top 10 every year...it's really hard not to pick Baghdad...and there's nothing fascetious about this answer. Others Email me I think Detroit is safer...........Welcome to Detroit City...........It's hot Did you see Scary Movie 3? If so, why are you asking this question!!! Defiantly Baghdad, cause you got good guys there that will protect you. Detroit. Detroit has 3 times as many murders as Baghdad Is this a serious question? B/c Baghdad is a much more dangerous and violent city than Detroit. Anyone who says otherwise is not being serious or just playing off stereotypes of Detroit. You don't see car bombs or bombs being set off in malls killing innocent people in Detroit. You don't have a war going on, a real war not some turf war. In Detroit, and any other city in America, it is dangerous for those who choose that lifestyle. Most murders and violent crime happends to people that are involved some way or another, either directly or inderectly, with drugs and other crime. Yes, innocent people do get caught in the middle sometimes but it's a rare occurence. The media just makes things appear worse than they are. Essentially 85% of the violent crime in Detroit is probably caused by about 1%-2% of the population. Innocent people die in Baghdad everyday. There is no city in the developed world that can compare to Baghdad, I'm pretty sure it was recently named the most dangerous city in the world right after other cities in third world countries. Detroit is bad, no doubt about that. But you can't even compare the two. |
