Travel Info Do you consider Detroit, Michigan USA as an international tourist destination? Why or why not? Travel Tips It definitely was for people interested in music. Motown for sure, and more recently the techno scene. A lot of Europeans loved the Detroit techno scene. As a vacation destination for an international person, probably not. But there is the International Auto show that draws people from all over, and the electronic music fest in the Spring always draws people from all over. So people do come here as tourists, they just come when something special is going on. Others There is nothing worth seeing in Detroit.....so no..... I have been there and a total waste it depend on what your intrest are. If like cars and trucks then detroit is the city to come to (they don't call us the motor city for nothing). Detroit's sports are also very good (except for the lions). no theres not really anything there to go see exept a some places where you can gamble. yes I do visiting The Henry Ford Museum and Village is worth the trip Four words....... RED WINGS KICK BUTT!!!! It depends on what you like, the time of year and what's going on. We are the motor city. We have the most awesome auto show if you love to see that. |
