If you are wanting a romantic getaway, I don't know how it would fare, there is a place in mid-michigan called the Shack, it is a smaller almost cabin like place with a small lake etc. My dad went there and really liked it. Try the Traverse City Area. Wine tasting events at local vineyards, Water sports on Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Many many romantic events for a couple! www.traversecity.com Port Huron I love Frankenmuth. Great hotels, shopping and dinning. Also near frankenmuth is birch run where there are a ton of outlet malls. Bravarian inn lodge is my favorite place to stay. Hope this helps |
