Where do the scenester/hipsters hang out in Detroit? |
Travel Info I am bringing a friend to detroit today and wanted to check out the local scene with him. Travel Tips you need to be more specific. besides if you and your friends idea of fun is meeting in detroit for the first time better be careful. i live and work here. there are tons of funs safe things to do but you can also get in a lot of trouble. check out the Metrotimes: http://www.metrotimes.com/ it will show you things in (and around the D) good luck Others Detroit and hipsters are an oxymoron. Chicago Leland City Club ;) go to livenation.com for bands playing in the area Chicago....Royal Oak is lame, but thats where the poseurs hang out at...if you have ever been to chicago, new york, LA, miami, hell even austin....detroit is a let down for hipsters. In flint and who ever said that those two words are an oxymoron pretty much every kindda cool music came from detroit aka motown Go to Windsor, Ontario. It has better nightlife than Detroit. |
