What are some really cool things to do in Detroit, MI? |
Travel Info I'm going there with my husband, brother-in-law & sister-in-law for Wrestlemania on March 31st! Travel Tips go to the clubs downtown & get drunk!! Maybe go to a tigers game. There are also casinos downtown if you like to gamble. (Greektown) In summertime i could give you some more suggestions, but weather is not quite there yet. And whoever said "most people go to WIndsor" is total BS. Most people go to WIndsor when they are 19-20 cause they can legally drink there, as opposed to 21 here. When the exchange rate was better alot of people did go to casino windsor to gamble, but it's pretty pointless now the way the economy is. Others you're kidding, right? make sure you bring a weapon. Play dodge the bullet in the low income housing areas. hi get good life insurance you need it Head across the river to Windsor, Ontario. Most of the Detroiters goto Windsor to party becuz they feel safe there. Maybe goto the casino, or hit downtown (Ouellette Ave.), Saturday nights are pretty fun and you won't get shot!!!!!! :) Home to the big three auto companies.. You should visit them... Luckily, everyone here keeps it real so they don't hide their flaws... So you won't have to worry about some white collar criminal backstabbing you.. If you walk the streets, you will probably meet real life survivors (not the hanky-panky type you see in the TV series)... As for dodging bullets as other people have said, you are probably safer walking the streets in Detriot than riding a car anywhere in the US... nothing really on the weekends, stay on the main roads, like the other others had said use common sense,the malls are empty, the museums are under renovation, so all collections are cram in one area .
