Who can help Michigan get to where they should be as a national power in basketball?

Nobody. The Michigan Wolverines b-ball squad is dead in the water! They WERE a national power during the Fab Five Era! The only way to do it is to bring back the original coach from those days, Steve Fisher. He did nothing wrong, yet the NCAA decided to jump on him and his team because the Fab Five had all the talent, confidence, and swagger, the things you need to play that type of game. They also had their own code and way of doing things (black socks, black shoes, baggy shorts, bald heads). This unfortunately didn't sit well with the higher-ups at the NCAA. Those suit-and-tie wearing b-----s are so damn uptight they would be jumping for joy if the NCAA decided to go back to the "tighty whitey" days! If the NCAA had kept their noses out of the U of M program, it wouldn't be in the mess it's in now! This is why i have no love for higher authority in a capacity like that. Just when you think it's OK, some punk b----h in a shirt-and-tie wanna f--k it up! What those players did with that booster and that money was their business! Even if it didn't happen (he was doing those kids a favor because the NCAA wasn't going to give them anything to live on but table scraps!), it is still their business! Everybody needs to just chill out. |
