Is "Sheraton Detroit Novi" nice? |
Travel Info Is "Sheraton Detroit Novi" nice? How about "The Westin Southfield Detroit" and "The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport"? Those three all look same. I have never stayed bad Sheraton but wonder if that one is good. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Travel Tips Sommerset collections in troy is one of the best malls of the country. If you are looking for outlet malls you can hit either the one North of Flint. Or even 12 oaks is really nice and it's in Novi. If you stay in Novi, and want something kind of cool and different, you can stay at the little known "hotel Baronette" Made by the Japanese for the Japanese traveler. It's a VERY COOL hotel. Check out the website. The restaurant is PRICEY but GREAT! Source(s): http://www.thesomersetcollection.com/... http://www.hotelbaronette.com/ Other Travel Tips Sheraton Novi is a nice hotel. Right off I-275. The Westin at the airport is also nice. I don't know about Southfield. Most Westin's are nice. Why are you coming and where do you need to be for business / personal. These hotels are not near each other. I have been to the Sheraton hotel in Novi. The hotel is very clean and the amenities are very good. I have visited get at the hotel but I have never stayed at the hotel. Stay at a nice hotel in Downtown Detroit BUT visit Somerset Collections in Troy. The best mall in America. they have a Outlet Section and Indoor section. for discount shopping.. Birch Run http://www.michigan.org/travel/detail.as... Monroe 14500 Laplaisance Rd # A60 Monroe, MI 48161 (734) 241-7766 Kensington outlet Address: Tanger Outlet Center Howell 1475 North Burkhart Rd. Howell, MI 48843 Toll Free: (888) 545-0565 Phone: (517) 545-0500 Fax: (517) 545-0606 personally, I'd stay in Novi.. nicer area than Southfield If you are flying in to Detroit, i would suggest staying at the Westin at the Airport. It does have a five star rating and is said to cater to your every need. It is would put you in close proximity to Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn(15 minute drive) and a little further off would be the 12 Oaks Mall area. there is a lot of shopping in that area as well. The Novi Hilton is a good hotel as well. It may be more centrally located to all of the malls that are in the Metro area. It puts you closer to the outlet malls and the Exclusive malls altogether. Great Lakes Crossing - Great collection of outlets at this one The Somerset Collection-Exclusive shopping(lots of tier 1 stores) this mall is a must. Lakeside Mall- Huge mall with five anchors There are even specialty malls like Canterbury village- Christmas themed mall where it is always Christmas...you can get some awesome prices on ornaments for the Holidays at GREAT PRICES!! In the summer they discount everything..now is definitely the time to buy. Here is a list of sites that I hope will be helpful to you. http://www.guide2detroit.com/shopping/ma... |
