Other Travel Tips Go to Chicago! It's a four and a half hour drive and there's tons to do. You could also head up north and stay at a small country cabin in the middle of no where. Also, Toronto is only four hours away and again, there's tons to do. Have a great trip! WINDSOR ONTARIO CANADA is the place to be. Come to Windsor Canada. Top Hotels , Mega Casino , Bingos , Night clubs , The Best Italian Restaurants on Erie street , the best Canadian restaurants that everybody love , The best Lebanese restaurants on earth , The peace fountain at the way east of the River front ( go at night , it lights up in all different colors , it`s very exotic) , Horse Track with slots , The Ice Park , The Art Gallery , Devenshire Mall ( the most popular mall in all of Canada) top strip clubs at the end of Pelisher Ave (North in downtown) , parking is not an issue; so many parking lots downtown , the very beautiful & romantic Jackson Park ( well knowen for weddings) the downtoen river fron , it`s so romantic , I think that`s it , but everyone leavs Windsor happy. It`s an attractive little place to be that has everything all the big places have,and it`s a 5 minute drive from Detroit. Chicago or Toronto for excitement Traverse City for relaxation. Heck save the gas, and put the money into some romance; plus, in case something happens with the kiddies you'll be back in a minute. Fewer problems for Grandma.
