Looking for a hotel with waterpark in the Detroit area?

Travel Info
I'll be going to a Tigers game in a few weeks on a Sunday and coming into town Saturday night with two young kids.

I'd like to ideally find a hotel with a nice pool or waterpark in the area that the kids would enjoy.

Any suggestions?

Travel Tips
The Sterling Inn (Best WEstern) is probably your best bet, as long as the kids are young.
My daughter is 6 and she loves the palce. We have had several parties for her there.
She is too young to go down the water slide. (it empties into a pool.. in order to do it, you must show the lifeguard that you can swim the length of the pool on your own)
But there is a lazy river that she can use the inner tube for.. or you can take a younger child on your lap if you sit in the tube.
Adn the 0-entry pool has tons of water play toys.
There is a smaller/tots-only play area in teh back.. they can climb up it, ride on the water bikes or get soaked by the bucket.
The pool closes every hour for 10 minutes.. don't ask me why.
For each night you stay at the hotel, you get a wristband to enter the pool. (so you have to be honest about how many people you have.. there is 4 allowed to a room)
The wristband is good until 11am on the day of check out.
There is an arcade upstairs but it is REALLY TIRED AND OLD.
The restaurant is great though.. they have live trout you can choose from for your dinner and there is a great kdis menu.
(although my daughter always orders the whole trout for $16)

Try to get a room in the same building as the pool.. not the building across the parking lot.
this is a noisy hotel so do not go for peace.

There really is nothing close to Comerica Park. You can stay in Sterling Heights a northern suburb at the Best Western Sterling Inn. It would probably take you 20-40 minutes to get to Comerica Park from this hotel. Other than that you might just want to find a nice hotel with a pool. The other "water park" type hotels are more than an hour north of the city in a great little town called Frankenmuth (check out the links below). Other cities to find a nice hotel would be Dearborn, Livonia, Royal Oak, Birmingham) All a little drive from Comerica Park. There are several nice hotels downtown as well...just stick with the "chain" hotels.

Enjoy your stay! After the game be sure to head over the Greek Town for dinner (ask any employee of Comerica Park, they can point you in the right direction). Go Tigers!

closest one is The Best Western Sterling Inn in Warren, Mi

There's one in Boyne Hills that's a Water Park and Hotel Resort.
