What is there to do in Detroit between midnight and noon? |
Travel Info I'm taking a trip to Toronto from my hometown in Mid-Michigan, and on the way back, there is a 12 hour layover in Detroit, from 12:15 AM to 12:10 AM on July 17th. As a white, suburban kid, what can I do for fun, without getting shot? Travel Tips There isn't alot going on at that time. Everything closes at 2:00. The Greyhound station isn't far from the center of downtown Detroit, I say take a stroll downtown( you won't get shot), maybe hit up a club then at 2:00 go back to the station and go to sleep. Others Can you say, "Glock 9mm?" Find a female security guard and get laid. id say find something to do at the airport ,, last time i went to detroit it was scary , please be careful. i am serious. if it was day i would still be leery. especially since you dont live in that area. lived in michigan at one time go to the Leland City Club (open to 4a) http://www.clubzone.com/c/detroit/nightc... then stop for breakfast Probably nothing but if you go across the river to Windsor... there is a lot because the bars there are open all night and the drinking age is like 18 or 19 and the casino is open too. windsor is a lot nicer than detroit. However, Detroit air port is not even close to this area - I'd stay at the airport and sleep! |
