Wat would happen if i walked down 9 mile? |
Travel Info im a white guy from england. wat would happen if i was in the so called "bad" areas? im not gna go and **** around with people i just wana check it out, wat would happen? ive had a few friends tell me i wouldnt walk out of there... Travel Tips 9 mile and van dyke. I used to live at 9 mile and mound (only a mile away from van dyke). That's in Warren. The city itself is not that bad. I would have to say I walked on 9 mile a lot from when I lived there. I walked to school on 9 mile, walked home, went to friends houses, went to family video and 7-11's, and to tell you the truth, I felt pretty safe. Of course this is mainly from mound to Ryan. But I did walk on 9 mile and van dyke. I would have to say it's not the best, but if you are minding your own business and do it during the day, it's probably not even going to be that bad. The only reason why I say during the day, is simply because there is some gang activity around that area at night. Which is stupid because the gangs usually hail from Detroit and are not even from Warren, they just go to there to cause trouble. Trust me though, I know a lot of people down there and I know no-one that would just mug a guy off the street or anything like that. Don't listen to the people on here saying it might be your last walk. They don't know crap, and they shouldn't even be here if they are not going to give you a serious answer. You'll be fine, it only looks scary, most of the people are nice though, that is unless you start messing with them first. Others Don't !! It could be your last walk. you might get killed or something bad They'd beat you up because you don't sound very street smart. Maybe you should just rent the movie. 9 mile in Ferndale is pretty nice with restaurants , clubs, stores don't bother any body and they wont bother u First of all Nine Mile is not in Detroit and the suburbs that Nine Mile runs through are very nice, although other than at Woodward (Ferndale area), there are very few bars/clubs that you would want to go into. The good bars and clubs and places you would want to walk are in Royal Oak, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Rochester. There are several other places that you would enjoy. Downtown Detroit, but the stadiums, the casinos, Greektown is very safe and you will have nothing to worry about. I would avoid the neighborhood areas as there is not too much to do there and there is really no need for you to be there. |
