Travel Info Have you discovered some unique thing to do within Livingston county-I don't know so tell me! Gas is so expensive these days but i feel its worth exploring the five southeastern counties to learn about their hidden treasures! Travel Tips I was once told Howell was a centerpiece for the Ku Klux Klan... In better news, half of Dunham Lake is in Livingston County. It's a glacier lake with an enforced greenbelt (means no structures allowed within 1000 or so feet). It's a small lake but extremely deep so it's good for fishing, so long as you don't have a motor. Only paddleboats and oars on Dunham Lake. Cornell conducted studies on it for its cleanliness and unique geographical profile. Brighton's pretty awful. Others there are some really cool abandoned gravel pits to fish at There are a few old cemeteries you can walk around in There is a lot of state parks and metro parks with all kinds of things to do like Swimming, Hiking, biking, fishing, and golf like Frisbee golf that is. Tons of hiking trails and the parks are beautiful... |
