Travel Tips I would say that it needs to attract innovative, young, and forward thinking industries/companies, such as green energy companies and high tech companies. Also, if Detroit put a lot of initiative on becoming a "green" city, via innovative recycling programs, recruiting troubled youth to volunteer to clean the city up, planting trees, gardens, and really just renewing the worst areas by transforming them into parks and environmentally focused places, Detroit could become an example of how to turn a once auto industry dominated area into a model city for the future.
