As of right now the fireworks are still on for tonight. They will begin at approximately 10:00 p.m..

The best place on the Detroit side is from anywhere around Hart Plaza. If you have a passport, I suggest watching them from the Canadian side though. It is a great view with the Detroit Skyline in the background and there is plenty of space in Windsor to watch them without obstruction.

It;'s best to get there early, but the Fireworeks show begin at 9PM and the Fireworks themselves start at 10PM/
