Travel Tips
I used to live in michigan and as long as your 21 and can put a deposit down on a room you dont need your credit card in most hotels around there. The knights in is really cheap..around $50 a night and accepts anything. Its not that great of a place but it has the basics, cable, microwave, and a very clean room.
I dont know whats going on there around the time ur going but if your close to detorit you can always go to the DIA the zoo or the science center.Theres plenty too do in mich .

Don't listen to that other post; there is plenty to do in Michigan! Unfortuantely, I don't have time right now to link you to any sites, but check out most Michigan tourist guides on the internet (official sites).

As for hotels, most accept a cash deposit (around $100) or a debit card if you have it.
you should go out camping, maybe to one of the great lakes, or upper penisula in michigan there's lots to do dont listen to dat other guy he does not know wat he talkin bout... cuz im from michigan
