Do you know anything about transportation in Dominican Rep?How can I get from La Romana Air port to Punt Cana? |

You can be sure of one thing. Taxi drivers are mostly dishonest. Ask how much before you get in the car. Take a bus when possible. They're cheap and normally nice. The better Hotels will meet you at the Airport. Exchange your money at Western Union. You'll get a better rate. You're better off flying to Punta Cana Airport. La Romana is still trying to get airport in shape. From La Romana to Punta Cana is aprox. 37-50 Mins. But if you do La Romana please dont get into a taxi. 1. It's going to take forever 2.It will cost alot 3. Its unsafe. Get onto a bus with people on it right on a piece of paper: Para Barcelo Bavaro Beach Hotel, and i'm sure he/she will take you. just fly to punta cana,when u made reverstions didnt it say from where ur flying to punta cana, if not u should have checked into it. they have taxis...and they have buses...a metro line...whcih takes you from city to city...but traveling alone in the dominican Republic isn't a good idea specially if you are a girl...but they have transportation...
