Should we switch resorts since the fire at the bavaro princess all suites? |
Travel Info My friends and i recently booked our vacation for november at the bavaro Princess all suites resort. I saw on tripadvisor.com (my new best friend) that there was a fire and it looked pretty bad. Does anyone know if this will effect us if we arent going until november because we are able to switch resorts if needed. Or does anyone have a better recomendation on possibly a better place? We really just want to chose the best one, and its so hard to tell from pictures an reviews! They all look great! Any help is much appreciated! :) Travel Tips we just can back yesterday from Dominican Republic.. it was nice.. we stayed in the sun village in punta pluta.. it was ok there where a few things to becareful of.. first there is a 10 dollar charge before you can even enter the country. cash only.. they kill you on the conversion rate...but tfor the sun village it was clean the food was ok the employees where friendly.. on a scale from 1 - 10 i wold rate the sun village as and 7.. hope that helps Others That's kind of a tough call. It's April and you are going in November. Will the resort be repaired by than and will it be up to par like it was before the fire? If you can switch, I would just to be on the safe side. Iberostar Bavaro Suites or the Paradisus Punta Cana are nice. Check them out on tripadvisor. I love that site too. Good info and honest reviews most of the time. Good Luck s A) its April, and you are worried about November? What's that all about? I'm going there in June, and didn't even start looking for flights (from Manila, Philippines). Chill out. B) why are you reserving a hotel ahead of time? There are so many nice places to stay, just fly there, go down to the beach and look for a hotel or apartment. What is so difficult about that? Platinium Travel is located in the Dominican Republic, and they are specialized in VIP travel and they can book and organize for you the best holidays you can dream of! They also do "tailor-made" vacations. e-mail : platiniumtravel@yahoo.com I would if it was an option to avoid any disappointment =) |
