Are certain areas of the beaches in punta cana nicer then others? |
Travel Info I stayed at the formerly Sunscape Punta Cana Grande a few yrs ago and am planning a trip back to punta cana in november with my bf and 3 other couples. I was wondering if the beaches are different depending on which resort you stay at.... Some reviews say that the water was not clear, and the beaches were windy with rough water and waves. I prefer calmer water if possible. Does anyone have a recomendation on the best place for us to stay? Travel Tips We stayed at a great resort in La Romana. Canoa Coral Resort. The water was calm and we loved it there. Check it out on trip advisor. This water is more Caribbean compared to Punta Cana that has a mixture of Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean. Any of them that I have been to, have been the same. Well if you liked the one you stayed at before, they try to go to the same one. i stayed at the sunscape punta cana grand and the beach was nicer cleaner then sunscape the beach(we went when the beach was not even a year old(the one side of the resort was just rocky and the other side was just sand!)) but the more north u go u get the ocean. the heaver the waves tide and the water was not as clear but it was clear and beautiful! the more south u go u get the Caribbean sea. worm. clear and calmer. but i luv the beach at the beach b.c i luv the waves! when i went They are all on thesame coastal area so pretty much the same, it's the resort that makes a lot of difference, some resorts just don't clean up. http://amazing-asia.blogspot.com... Well, All of the beaches are the same. Nov. is a good time to go because they aren't storms and thats when the sand turns white. In Dominican Rep. We are very compet. I could say in my hotel we have a nice beach 2 big pools, 150 rooms and the other one would say the beach is big, 5 pools, 500 rooms when it's really the same so dont pay mind to what they say. read the reviews people write and then deside. In 2004 I went to Punta Cana. I kind of forgot the name..like something like Asia Mari or something like that.. It was good and the one next to us was Breezes. Breezes looked like a nice place.... We Used to go to the beach in our hotel and walk over to Breezes because in our hotel the pool was freezing cold,but in Breezes the pool water was nice and warm and the place looked liek a mini paradice city. Try looking it up Breezes Punta Cana. Hope you find a place to say in ! |
