Casa Marina Beach, Sosua, Dominican Republic- Anyone been? |
Travel Info I've just booked a holiday there for the 30th of may and staying there for a week. Has anyone been? What the beaches like? What are the people like? Is the hotel any good? (NO NASTY COMMENTS PEEPS THANKS XX) :) Travel Tips It's a very popular hotel you can see the recent reviews at http://www.tripadvisor.com I haven't been to that hotel in the last 2 years. Good luck =) Others Ive been to Sosua and it is beautiful there. I went down in August and I stayed in Puerta Plata and I took a trip to Sosua and it is a beautiful place. The beaches are as beautiful and they can get and the sand is so white and the water is really blue. The food on the beach is excellent. The locals are very friendly people. Most hotels there are very nice, there are a couple shady ones but other then that, you are in for a good trip. Im actually going to the Dominican on may 4th and this time i am renting a villa in Rio San Juan. Have fun on your trip Hi ya i havnt been there but ive been to Playa Dorada Dom Rep in Janurary 07 it was great and me and my wife are going back in Janurary 08 same hotel ,same location and we never do that! Take huge advantage of all inclusive! and swimming with the Dolphins is a must do! Hope you have fun. Hi!, Good choice, this is medium good all in hotel in Sosua, and there is a reasonable night life in the village of Sosua, The beach is good, but sometimes the sea (waves) are a little bit tough to handle, so be care full! Enjoy your holiday! platinium travel@yahoo.com Gilbert Hi I went there 2 years ago for xmas and newyear! It was great they had 2 jacuzzis overlooking the ocean! The beach is nice, infact all the hotel is nice the food is excellent and the people go out their way to make your holiday great. Only thing that put me off was the French Canadians! They liked to hear their own voices, you can go out the hotel and you will find some bars not too remote. Just booked today for the south side for 8th May. The people is friendly and very social. Is an excellent hotel. |
