Why people want to go on holiday to Punta Cana, where there is nothing but Golden Jail Hotels? |
Travel Info I would advise the people to go to Puerto Plata! It is so much more fun and you can really discover the country! Travel Tips True, due to the fact that the hotels in Punta cana (not all of them though) are far away from eachother... and far away from the town as well, BUT if you go to Puerto plata that has playa dorada complex all (hotel, beach and city) is close to everything. Others All the hotels in Punta Cana are new and the beaches are way better then Puerto Plata but if you like POP better go for it, we all are different =) golen jail hotels? you could say that about most of the country, it's not THAT bad. you can still go out of the complex wherever you holiday in the country, everyone is different & enjoys different holidays Golden Jail Hotels? That's funny. True most people don't leave their resort. We did tour Puerto Plata and to tell you the truth the country side was nice but it was also depressing. We saw many kids trying to earn money selling gum, candy or anything. Or just begging. You don't see that in the states with children. It broke our hearts. Both part of Dominican Republic are nice to vacation. But we prefer the Caribbean side. Some travelers aren't interested in discovering the country. They want to relax and de-stress on the beach. Different strokes for different folks s i loved punta cana. theres nothing wrong with lieing on a beach or by a pool for 7 days straight. it's very relaxing. and it isn't like theres nothing to do. anywho, some people just dont like to sit around. thats cool. Yes I agree with you. There is so much beauty and culture to discover in the DR. I don't care to laze around an all inclusive americanized golden jail. Be an independant traveler and go to explore the country. Stay at local mom and pop hotels. Savor the best food on earth. Dance and party with friendly locals. I wish I was there now. |
