Travel Tips Sure. In general, there aren't predators in DR that could harm a human. However, on the far south or at the southwest you could find the Cayman. They are pretty much just like alligators. It is quite unlikely that you'd see a Juron. They are small (up 18 inches) and savvy type of rodent that behaves just like a fox. You will have less problems with them in Puerto Plata region,because there is sea, montains, and the air as not that high humidity level as in Punta Cana. But Punta Cana is the perfect GOLDEN PRISON ! for tourist who dont like to go out and discover this beautifull country... |
