Travel Info wher can i find a cheap christmas holiday for 13 people to domnica republic pulling my hair out as it has all been left to me Travel Tips You need the help of a good travel agent with all those people.It's good you are looking now, we went with 9 people for a Christmas holiday and booked kind of late and almost ended up staying home. You need to determine what area you want to visit. Puerto Plata, Sosua and Cabarete is located in the northern part (Atlanta Ocean side) Punta Cana area is a combination of Atlanta Ocean and Caribbean side of the island. The beaches beautiful. Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, La Romana and Bayahine is all Caribbean side of the island. Personally, I like Punta Cana or La Romana part of the island. In Punta Cana we stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Place and the resort is part of a 5 hotel property In LaRomana/Bayahine we stayed at Canoa Coral. The beaches are also excellent. There are so many new resorts to choose from but we never paid more than $900 per person with air from JFK (NY) to Dominican Republic. I believe http://www.libertytravel.com is having a sale I would check with them. But also check with a travel agent, they have many contacts.
