Dominican Republic Would You Go There after this? |
Travel Info A tourist couple went to a resort called the Sunscape The Beach in Punta Cana. When in there room, they here people outside there room arguing, suddenly they start banging on the door and accuse the couple of stealing a cell phone. Well to make a long story short, the police were called and they were thrown in jail and the police said just give us your money or you will stay in jail forever and you will never see your wife again. After giving them 1000.00 cash they were allowed to go back to the hotel. This couple were innocent and law bidding, one was a bank manager and the other was a teacher. This was supposed to be their dream vacation, would you subject yourself and your family to that type of abuse? Travel Tips They were two Canadians, Newfoundlanders at that! Others No. They say the only way to go to any of those island places is with or if you know someone there. LIFE I would still go, stuff like that can happen anywhere. It's ashame but it happens. =( Hi!, This is unbelievable I never had that kind of bad experience in the area of Boca Chica/Boulevard or in Puerto Plata. You see the "golden Jails" of Punta Cana are not that good after all... Gilbert Dominican Republic, Cess pool of the world.
