The only thing that happens in the Caribbean in summer month are Hurricane's lows that develop in to strong tropical systems that can be devastating in rain wind and etc; and last for up to 7 day's. For Dominican Republic, the hurricane season is exactly the same as for the US, fron June till September although the most rainy months are July and August. no monsoon, it does sometimes rain heavy, but clears & dries really quick you get the odd hurricane around September, but they normally miss the island anyway |
