Travel Info i am going to the dominican republic in 2 days. (puerto plata) is weather hot enought for a tan? Travel Tips It was in March wehn I went so by now you will fry up nicely. Have a great time and remember to tip everyone you can. Others It's always 90+ degrees over there. you will def get a tan dont worry, when i was there it was cloudy and had been raining we got out the sea and i feel asleep with out putting more cream on and was really burnt and i am naturally quite tanned so be careful use plenty of cream. The weather is not that brillant for the moment, I live in Puerto Plata Gilbert (tour operator) It rains a lot in Puerto Plata, making it tropical green with beautiful flowers everywhere but the sun shines enough that you will be able to get a tan. It is usually sunny in the morning and very hot and humid so you will welcome the rain in the late afternoon to cool your sunburn. Wooo im off there 2morrow! off to sosua, hoping to get a nice tan aswel! herd thers thurderstorms there at the mo though :( It is always great weather for tanning in the Dominican Republic, even when there are clouds. I've been there many times and I've always been able to get some sun. Enjoy! |
