Night life in the capital is good if you have wheels (car/jeep)
and of course depending where you go! I麓m from Belgium
and lived 8 years in Santo Domingo and I love it! Especially
The Beer House Cafe.. Now I live for about 5 years in Puerto Plata. so I don麓t know anymore the "hot places to be".... But anyway it is very cool and enjoy it. I麓m a tour operator if I can help just contact me. Bye Bye

There are daylight robberies there...people in scooters drive by and snatch baggage from unsuspecting passerbys.
