Travel in Punta Cana? |
Travel Info I am needing to get from the airport to my resort - Melia Caribe. It is a 20 minute drive. The resort shuttle is $60 UD. Would a taxi be cheaper? Travel Tips It would be cheaper but they are NOT reliable. A taxi may charge you around 40 dollars (it's very near from the airport to the resorts) but stick to the resort shuttle because if anything happens you have the resort to answer. Please spend your 60 dollars in the resort shuttle and dont risk you rlife on a local taxi, they see tourists and God forbids what may happen with you or your luggage. Others I stayed at the Majestic Colonial. My resort shuttle was free because it came with my package but my sister left her one of her bags at the Punta Cana Airport. It was about 20-30 minute drive there and back so all together about a hour. It was 30 bucks US money so thats definately cheaper. Did you booked all inclusive package = Flight,Hotel, F&B all included?, then normally the transfert must be included. I麓m a travel agent and my customers are picked-up from the airport, but they go to Puerto Plata (VIP) bigger beaches etc.,. Well enjoy your Golden Jail Hotel... nothing to see the next town/village is 38 miles away...
