Punta Cana hotel--Occidental Grand? |

Other Travel Tips Hi, look is better if you go to occidental flamenco Punta Cana...occidental grand is not from occidental now,now is Globalia Hotels. punta cana is great....just be sure to choose the best hotel for you....check out the reviews but remember everyone head is a world Hi, If you're talking about about the Occidental Grand Flamenco, I've been there 3 times, in family (my wife and our two kids). What we really like about this hotel is the great pools with gentle slopes that are really perfect for the kids. Also, there are a lot of trees on the beach so you can find shade when all the parasols are occupied or 'reserved'... :-( The food is ok, but we don't have high expectations about this. The rooms are quite large and clean, even if the bathrooms would welcome some refurbishment... We once went to the Barcelo Caribe, it's the same standard. Compared to the Occidental, the room was smaller, the restaurants were better but the pool really couldn't compare. So, in the end, I would clearly recommend the Occidental Grand Flamenco, especially if you are with kids. Been there 3 times. A few photos here : http://picasaweb.google.fr/gamondes/punt... Occidental has a hotel named Occidental Grand Flamenco, not to be mistaken with Globalia Punta Cana Grand. Occidental is good, specially if you like to party they have a disco at punta cana, called mangu, and not so far there is another disco that belongs to princess hotels called areito, Super. your trip will be very fun. |
