Travel Info I sent my passport renewal application and i doubt it'll be here by next week friday (day of my trip). Do you know if i can go with my birth certificate, my school ID, and a notarized paper by my mother (because i am going with a third party and i am a minor)??? I NEED ANSWEWRS PLEASE!!!! Because they got so backed up with the applications, they temporarily waived the law for people who have already applied for passports. As of January of this year, you must have a valid passport to travel anywhere outside the U.S. by air. I work for U.S. Customs and Border Protection Bring official photo I.D. and proof that you applied for a passport & you'll be okay. Call the office of your US Representative (Congressman) to ask for help with getting the passport in time. Call the offices of both of your US Senators if you can't get through to your Representative or they tell you they can't help. CALL TODAY.
