Are there any boats or ferries that leave florida and go all the way to punta cana? |
Travel Info With the whole delaying of passports i was wondering if there are any ways of traveling to the Dominican republic punta cana by boat and how much it would cost? Travel Tips No, their are no boats/Ferries to Punta Cana (no Harbor) You have a harbor in Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo. Anyway as a American citizen, you need a passport to travel, because when you turn back home you will have many problems to enter your own country!!! The best spot to go on vacation in the Dominican is Puerto Plata, far better beaches than Punta Cana where there is nothing than Golden Jail Hotels (nothing to see) the next village is 38 miles!!! I know I麓m a tour operator, if you need info let me know! Gilbert Others There is no ferry to the Dominican Republic from Florida but there is one from Puerto Rico to Santo Domingo. If you really needed to go before you got your passport you can do it that way but it is expensive and time consuming. Wait till you have a passport in my opinion. http://www.lifeinthedr.com/forums... No matter what tipe of transportation you take, you'll need a passport to enter this country. There is no ferrie boat betwen those cities, there is only one ferrie coming to santo Domingo, and is from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. |
