Travel Info I am planning a trip to Punta Cana. The place I am staying is is all inclusive, with 11 resturants, but 8 of them are a la carte. What does that mean??? Travel Tips Each course of the meal can be chosen from the menu. You might check to see if the a la carte restaurants are INCLUDED in you "all Inclusive" price. I was at one once and the drinks and small plates around the pool were not included. Others a la carte means that there is a choice of different foods, the menu isnt set as to what you have for each course A la carte means that each compenent of the meal is seperate. This would be similar to a cafeteria where you pick what you want to eat and then they ring it all up seperate.I'm going to assume these are also included in the price of your package, if not each item will be a seperate price. So rather than going in and ordering a steak dinner that includes a potato and salad, you can pick and choose what you want. Hope this helps! Techfanatic has answered your question.
