Travel Info Whats the weather like in the Dominican Republic in late August.? Travel Tips I went there last year late August, its extremely hot and Humid. Every evening we would get a rainstorm, Excellent thunder and lightning, but then it would dry up instantly. We loved it tho and would definately go back at that time of year. Others HOT!!! Warm and wet. http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/bu... hot Hot and humid, with showers. Take some light clothing, you will need it. Don't pack formal wear unless you KNOW you will go to a black tie event of sorts. All clubs and discos now accept people in polos (not t-shirts), unless you're in the colonial zone which is more relaxed. Good luck and have fun. It is usually very warm and humid. |
