Travel Info Have you ever been to Punta Cana and if so how was it? Travel Tips I spent two weeks there,its great. It is very common to have an all inclusive resort in PC, which is a great deal, there is all the typical things to do at the resorts, catamarans, snorkeling, drinking, dancing some shows etc. I personally had to get away and try the local scene. There are many great and safe restaurants sea side clubs casinos shows of various types...you name it. Keep in mind the majority of travelers to DR is European who can be very nice as well as very difficult to Americans. The local areas are safe, ask your front desk manager and trust him or her....Good Luck PS-Some Spanish is helpful:) Others yea i went there for a few days on vacation...it was nice...i didnt see much of the actual city because i was staying at a resort but it was still fun I fell in love!!! Must go. There's not much there, but definately a paradise place. I stayed there last april. I was usually go to DR for my famiy, but last april I went and stayed in an all inclusive resort. This one was nice because we did not only hang around our hotel, we had access to 3 other hotels that are linked to the we stayed in. Our hotel was just about the beach, the others were: Casino, Golf, Caribe. The other one was Palace but you would have to pay just a one day fee to have access to some things not all. But It would be worth just to take a long (for future plans). My grandfather was born and raised in DR and never in his life did he ever stay in an all inclusive resort, now he's already making plans to go on a cruise with the family and any hotel related trips we take. he absolutely loved it. The town is not much to look at, just beware of what you buy and beware of your things. They are very nice people. You'd like it. |
