Travel Tips First you have to go to the Banco popular and buy a Pin(must be paid in US dollars) You call the consulate and give them your pin number, then You answer some peresonal questions like, name, date of birth, address, etc, they give you a date for an appointment. Thats how you get your visa appointment. Previous your visa appoitment day, you have to fill out a visa reuest form and pay your visa appointment which is also paid in US dollars(at the Banco Popular) The day of the appointment you show up at the consulate, with your form, your receipt, passport , a passport photo, work letter, id, documentation that shows you are solvent, you know, bank letter, car documents,etc. You have to stand in line, deposit your documents and they will give you a ticket with a number, then you go and wait till they call your number. You will be interviewiewd by a Consul. He might ask you a few questions. If he or she thinks you DONT qualify, hell give you all your documents back and tell you they are very sorry but if they are giving you the visa, he or she will scan your indez fingers, give you a ticket and ask you to come back the day after to pick up your passport.
