Im saving up for a surprise honeymoon for hubby? |
Travel Info we never went on a honeymoon and weve been married for 3 years now, any great suggestions on where to go? cruise? resort? weve never been out of canada before. thanks Travel Tips I have been married for almost 4 years and due to my military career we never got a honeymoon either. I am saving to take my wife to Ireland. I think being up in the vast green mountains of Ireland would be nice. A lot of it depends on your budget. I would recommend that you go talk to a travel agent and they will let you know what is in your price range. The trip I am planning will only cost me just under $3000. Others Well I would say that it depends on your preferences. Some people might stay a few days in Las Vegas, NV where some would rather visit Niagra Falls in New York. The adventurous might want to go white water rafting in Colorado whereas the sight seeing type may go to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. Those are only a few places and those are in the U.S. Perhaps there is some place in Canada that you would rather go to or somewhere in a different part of the world depending on your budget. This may not have answered your question but I hope it did give you a few options that you might not have thought about before. Where abouts in Canada are you from? Canada has so many nice places, you can acutally stay in your area... If you are from BC, Harmony Airlines has great rates!! If you want to go on a cruise, there's the Alaskan cruises which departs from Vancouver. The cruise is magnificent and best of all, when you are on board, most of your trip is paid for. All you pay for is an shore excursions, alcohol, gambling money, and gratuity. Go to your CAA office and they can help you with it. There's wonderful lakes and resorts all over Canada. Why not try a Bed & Breakfast in a provice you have not explored before? I'm sure if you google/search "Bed and Breakfast Canada" a list will come up. Or, if you are kids at heart, there's always Disneyland or Disneyworld.. depending if you are east or west coast. There's always specials for Canadians, and again, try your local Auto Club office. If you enjoy drinking wine, why not also try Wine Country, as in Napa, California?? Not only can you go wine tasting, stay in a nice B&B, but you can also explore San Francisco. Good luck! |
